WVU Releases Dean’s, President’s And Graduate Lists For Spring 2024

West Virginia University has released its Spring 2024 Dean’s and President’s lists, along with the complete list of spring semester graduates.

A total of 6,852 students received honors during the spring semester.

In all, 3,973 students were named to the Dean’s list, having achieved 3.5 grade point averages or higher. Barbour County residents named to the Dean's list are: Brielle Bolyard, Trenton Chevalier, Koltin Davis, Casey Jones, Vanessa Kelley, Emily Novak, Kilea Payne, Emma Poling, and Madisyn Simpson.

The University’s President’s list includes 2,879 students who earned 4.0 GPAs. Barbour County residents named to the President’s List are: Luke Farnsworth, Mimi Ferguson, Jessica Findley, Alisha Griffith, Taylor Mayle, Lauren Morris, and Joshua Watson.

Thousands of graduates participated in nine Commencement ceremonies at the Coliseum May 10-12. The final total graduate number for Spring 2024 was 3,858. Graduating from Barbour County were Jakob Baker, Riley Domingues, Alisha Griffith, Izabella Hubbard, Somer Kerr, Taylor Mayle, and Camille Treadway.
