Winter Storm Watch For County (Monday, February 10, 2025)

• Most of North Central West Virginia will be on winter watch Tuesday, with 3-8 inches of snow being possible, with more likely ice accumulation expected.

• Next Eye of the Needle Quilt Guild is scheduled for Thursday, February 13 at the Market Place in Philippi at 10 a.m.

• Upcoming spring craft show at Battlers Knob on April 5 will now feature Easter Bunny Minis - a picture session with an adorable Easter Backdrop.

  
  

• Belington VFD will host a cash bash on March 8, and Elimination dinner on April 5. More details to come.

  
  

• Green Hill Church and Gray Farms will celebrate WV Maple Day on February 15 with a pancake breakfast featuring homemade syrup. Breakfast will be at the church from 8 a.m.-Noon, while the farm will hold open house from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Syrup will be available for sale.
