Valerie Minor Recognized

The Philippi Lions Club would like to recognize Valerie Minor. Valerie joined the club in July 2010 and quickly became involved in the club's projects. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as Secretary for five years.

Valerie's favorite project is the durable medical equipment lending service that the Club has. She believes it means so much to the people in need. She dresses up as Betsy Ross for the flag day presentation to first graders, is active in fundraising projects, the Easter egg hunt, Halloween festivities, vision screening and most every other project that the Club pursues.

Valerie's most memorable project was when we bought backpacks for foster children. She is proud to wear her grandfather's Lions Club lapel pin.
