Football field at Battlers Knob

*Another round of snow is now being called for our area, with some prediction calling for 6-10 additional inches. Considering how originally no new snowfall was supposed to arrive until weekend, it is hard to predict what we will encounter now through Thursday and Friday.

*Schools are on a two hour delay as of Wednesday afternoon, with some bus routes already being cancelled.

*Most of the events for the rest of the week have either been postponed or cancelled - although PB-Grafton game is still on for Saturday, and Meet the Representatives breakfast is still on for Friday morning. The latter one is supposed to take place at Laurel Mountain Inn on Friday morning at 8 a.m. County Commission meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. the same morning.

*Several local businesses are offering specialized Valentine's Day goodies - Walnut Lane, Kaytee Thorne, Abrezia Mitchell, Wolfe's Homemade, Audrey's Sweet Treats - just to name a few. To see their selections of offering, check out their Facebook pages.

*Let us hope that the weather will ease up on us in days to come, so regular events and meetings can go an as scheduled. For today, with more impending snow, this is all that we have to report!
