Philippi Main Street Celebrates Volunteers With Reception

Philippi Main Street, a member of the National Main Street organization, recently hosted a reception to honor its dedicated volunteers. With over 2000 members strong, the National Main Street organization is dedicated to community engagement and revitalization efforts. The event was held at 17 North Event Center.


One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of outstanding individuals, elected officials, and businesses whose contributions have impacted the community. Among the winners were:


Business of the Year was 17 North Event Center, owned by Jodee Nelson.



Public Officials of the Year were Tony Wilson and Amy Mick, and Volunteer of the Year was Beth Marsh: Beth Marsh's selfless dedication and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on Philippi Main Street.







While Laurel Stemple, the Board Member of the Year, was unable to attend the event, her contributions were duly noted and celebrated amongst attendees.
