Sandy Spotloe, Jeannie Mozley, and Nancy McLean

The Philippi Lions Club held their annual "Fun Auction" for the residents of Mansfield Place on Friday, June 7. The residents are given “fun money” to bid on the items donated by area businesses and club members. This year there was a large variety of items ranging from snacks such as cakes and cookies; clothing (t-shirts, hats and socks), games and puzzles, body wash, stuffed animals, jewelry, spaghetti dinners, and other items as well. The Lions Club was also able to give them a cash donation, which they will use at a later date for a pizza party and some other fun activities.

In addition to club members, donations were received from Freedom Bank, Heart & Hand Thrift Store, Lil' Moes, Mace's Pharmacy, Medallion Restaurant, Mullens & Mullens, and Perfectly Pampered Salon. Members working were Nancy McLean, Sandy Spotloe, Jeannie Mozley, Debbie Williams, Valerie Minor, and Millard Minor.
