PES Receives Community Grant


  • Philippi Elementary School received Barbour County Community Foundation Grant to help implement the incentive snack program for the attendance.


  • Three PBHS students were accepted into All-State Choir: Jenna Campbell, Triston Campbell, and Hailey Taylor.


  • Feed My Sheep will host open house on March 28 for everyone interested in finding more about the school.


  • Belington Middle School is excited to host Snowball dance on February 28 from 7-9 p.m. Coronation will take place at 6:30 p.m.


  • BoTai will celebrate first anniversary on March 1-2, while 17 North Event Center will have their second anniversary celebration on March 8, from 7-10 p.m., featuring Full Cirkle and Electric Blue!


  • WV Autism Training Center will hold another event - "Understanding behavior through the lens of regulation" on March 10, from 4-6 p.m. at PBHS.


  • This Thursday - Barbour County Senior Center Philippi location will host monthly breakfast. It is open to anyone. Seniors pay per donation, while regular public cost is $4.50. Breakfast is served from 9-10 a.m.
