On Monday, November 11, grand opening was held for the new business on Main Street in Philippi. Cover Me In Stitches will be located inside the Perfectly Pampered Salon, and will feature variety of variety of products – from clothing to household items. The business is owned by Susan and Pat Jones, who already run several operations in town, and have added yet another one in order to continue contributing to the community, both through their businesses, as well as charitable ways.
In addition to the items made by Cover Me In Stitches, the shop will also be a base for couple of other businesses – Resting Bleach Face by Jessica Douglas and Imprint & Impress by Barb Durst.
Pat and Susan Jones extended their appreciation to several local residents, who have been instrumental in getting the business off the ground, including Douglas and Durst, as well as Mary Boyer and Anita Wells, who learn to process the equipment, and Mandy Sisson and Regina Harris who have helped with business side and with identifying shared opportunities. Additionally, they recognized Mark Tenney from Mountain State Quilting, who assisted in selected a six needle embroider machine. Pat Jones stressed that it was important to him and Susan to continue to support local businesses through this venture.
