Neighborhood Investment Program Tax Credits Available

Heart and Hand House, Inc., has been awarded $6,000 in Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) tax credits for eligible donations made to its Home Repair and Construction Program between now and June 30, 2024.

Businesses or individuals who contribute a minimum of $500 may receive up to 50% of the contributed amount in the form of state tax credits that can be used to reduce their liability for the WV Corporate Net Income Tax or Personal Income Tax. Credits are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Tax credits must be used within a five-year period.

Additional information about NIP may be found on the West Virginia Development Office’s Community Advancement & Development web page at http://wvcad.org/sustainability/neighborhood-investment-program. For more information about credit availability at Heart and Hand, please contact Jesica Streets at 304-457-1295.
