Molly’s Hand Dipped Ice Cream Receives An Award

Barbour County Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizen of the Year Award is presented to a Business member of the Chamber for their significant role that Business has played during the year 2023 in furthering the good of Barbour County. The award was presented to Molly’s Hand Dipped Ice Cream and was accepted by Dennis Riccio.

Molly’s has played a pivotal role in nurturing Barbour County’s vibrant live music scene. Since the inception of their weekly open mic nights, there’s been a noticeable surge in live music venues across town. Now, residents can enjoy live performances almost every day of the week without venturing beyond the county lines. Molly’s serves as a nurturing ground for budding talents, offering a supportive environment where young artists can refine their craft and bolster their confidence. Notably, our music scene has drawn enthusiasts from neighboring counties, further enriching our community’s cultural landscape.

In addition to foster musical talent, Molly’s actively supports various community events such as Jumping on the Courthouse Lawn, Molly’s Half Price Family Skate Night, and the Lowered on the Lawn Car Show. These initiatives not only attract visitors from surrounding areas but also exemplify the warmth and hospitality that define Barbour County.

Perhaps most importantly, Molly’s is in a cherished “third place” for families and individuals alike. Here, amidst a welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere, people can connect, unwind, and forge meaningful connections.
