Local Cheer Group Competes

On Saturday, November 11, 2023 Barbour County’s Youth Cheerleaders competed at the MYF Competition hosted at Lincoln High School in Shinnston, WV.

The PeeWee cheerleaders competed during the morning session. The cheerleaders who competed were Ella Whitlock, Jordan Boyles, Paisley Wright, Brayel Harris, Mayzie Payne, and Mia Arbogast. They are coached by Kelsey Gross and Jennifer Whitlock.

The Mighty Mite and Midget cheerleaders competed in the afternoon session. The mighty mite cheerleaders are Aurelia Shaw, Nora Matthews, Lochlann Perry, Maci Wamsley, Hailey Haller, Brylee Arbogast, Emberlyn Foltz, Everly Summerfield, Tinlee Kisamore, Daisha Carpenter, Anniston Swiger, and Lilah Kisamore, and are coached by Brianna Shaw, Shamber Perry, Ashley Schoonover, and Nicole Beam.

The Midget cheerleaders are Addison Hunt, Amelia Ford, Alayna Kelley, Lilleigh George, and Aubrielle Fortney. Their coaches are Heather George and Billy Jean Hunt.
