Local Businesses Celebrate Anniversaries (Sunday, March 2, 2025)

• Two Philippi businesses celebrated anniversaries today, with Yarn Basket welcoming public for specials and door prizes to celebrate their third year of being open, while BoTai Boba had a full slate of activities for their first year anniversary, with more music being scheduled for tomorrow (due to unforeseen circumstances, tomorrow's hat bar is cancelled).

• Burning Law is now in effect from March 1 through May 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.

  
  

• Tryouts for Barbour County Youth Baseball will be held on Saturday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to Noon, at Battlers Knob . Check out their Facebook page for more info.

  
  

• Battlers Knob has few more spots left for their spring craft show, which will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more info, email cheri.sturm@yahoo.com.

  
  

• A new popular food truck, The Tater Wagon, will make its return to Barbour County this week - on Tuesday at BC Bank in Philippi, and on Thursday at Freedom Bank in Belington - both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  
  

• Bless This Food Pantry will not be open on Saturdays anymore, and will just be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
