Last Day To See School Play


  • Tonight is the last night to see PBHS Theater production of Clue! Starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at the door!


  • Also today:

    • Junior VFD Spring Bash - doors open at 9 a.m., and drawing will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

    • Philippi Public Library is showing movie "Garfield" at 10:30 a.m.

    • Crim UMC is hosting fundraising dinner at noon, until sold out.

    • Junior VFD bingo, 6:45 p.m.

    • E3 Music and Art Venue will have Byron Cooper from 8 p.m. till midnight.


  • Project Reform gym is having a giveaway until March 31. Every new member will be entered to win a free year membership. All existing members can enter if they refer a person and that person signs up for a year!


  • County schools announced Teachers of the Year who will all be celebrated on June 4 during Closing Ceremony! Winners are: Sarah Fultineer (BES), Amanda Shoulders (PES), Amanda Baker (JES), Jessica Sanetrik (KEMS), Tina Shriver (BMS), Chris Halterman (PMS), and Lewis Hall (PBHS)!


  • Barbour County Health Association is reminding people about their classes held at 17 North Monday through Friday (Chair Yoga M-Th 9 a.m., Floor Yoga F 9 a.m., Seated/Standing Cardio M-W-F 10:15 a.m., and Zumba W 6 p.m.).


  • Save the date: April 25, 6:30 p.m., Teens for Christ Church will have special speaker Audrei Bender.


  • Tygart Valley Health and Rehabilitation is looking for small farm animals to visit their facility of April 10. If you have friendly farm animal, contact Amy Jo Layhew on Facebook.


  • Central Chapel Church will be hosting board game night on March 30 at 5 p.m.


  • Feed My Sheep Christian School will hold Open House on March 28 from 5-7 p.m.
