Lady Colts End Season (Wednesday, March 12, 2025)

Young Lady Colts basketball team had an outstanding season that ended yesterday in quarterfinals of the state tournament. The team that saw loss of four starters from last year, and is comprised of mostly freshmen and sophomores, rose to the occasion this year and made it to yet another state tournament in Charleston. Unfortunately, they faced Wheeling Central Catholic that just proved to be too much for our young team.
Boys basketball is facing Ritchie County this evening for their chance for the trip to the state tournament, as well.
Save the date: Philippi Lions Club annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Little League Park in North Philippi!
Barbour County Music Hall of Fame tickets are now available by messaging or calling 304-502-3045! There is limited number of tickets available.
Nice weather means golf! Barbour Country Club is open this Wednesday through Friday (just soft opening with limited offerings at the club house) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Official opening weekend is on March 29.
