On Monday March 11, 2024, the Junior Lion’s Club made a fresh meal that is a staple to many of the older generation. They served the wonderful residents at Tygart Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Belington a meal of brown beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, cole slaw. To many of the residents this was a regular weekly meal in their homes growing up. Members of the club who helped prepare and serve this wonderful and delicious meal were Marshall and Dianna Reed, Sue Edwards, Jimmie Tallman, and Ted and Nancy Ware. Jimmie Tallman and his wife Sheila sang songs and played the accordion as well for the residents and staff. A good time was had by all.

The Junior Lions Club would like extended their appreciation to the residents, families, and staff of Tygart Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center for making this possible. This is just one of the many things that the Junior Lions Club does to help out in the community.
