*Yes, we are also tired of all the snow - makes for far fewer news items to report on! Luckily, it looks like the life will slowly start to return to normal this week, even though Monday will start with a 2 hour delay for the schools.

*City of Philippi has lifted their water conservation notice, stating that tanks are back to being full. They are currently hiring for water operator trainees - check their Facebook page for more info.

*Few exciting events to attend in downtown Philippi this week - 17 North will be hosting Trivia Night on Thursday from 7-9 pm, while Margarita's will host Jeff Gribble on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and Carl and Ed on Thursday from 6-8 p.m., as well.

*Board of Education will be meeting this Monday, while County Commission will meet Friday. Reminder that we will be reporting on both.

*Philippi Public Library will host screening of blockbuster movie "Wicked" on February 22. Space is limited, and people are encouraged to call the library and reserve a spot! Free hot chocolate and popcorn will be provided!
