Good morning, Barbour County!

*During Friday night and all the way into Saturday afternoon, our county got another round of heavy snow, bringing the total depth in areas like Teter Lake to whopping two feet of snow! No more snow is predicted for the rest of the week, and the temperature will start rising after Wednesday.

*Belington Bakery anniversary party is reschedule for Saturday, January 25 for all of those who were excited to attend. 17 North will have soup and grilled cheese today starting at noon, and WVU game on at 3 p.m. for everyone who has been battling cabin fever.

*Most churches in the area cancelled their Sunday service according to the Facebook reports.

*Philippi Basketball Youth League cancelled their Saturday games, and will make decision by 10:30 a.m. about Sunday afternoon games.

*Coming up this week, there is both Board of Education and County Commission meeting, and we will keep you posted about the things discussed at those. School is supposed to resume on regular hours Monday, after the kids ended up having extended three week break.

*Don't forget about Teens and Tweens Philippi Public Library National Pizza Day celebration on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m., and 17 North Trivia night on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. PB-Grafton boys' basketball game at Battlers Knob will be on Saturday, starting with freshmen game at 4 p.m.

*Weaver Nazarene Church in Belington has rec night every Friday from 5-8 p.m. Ages 10 and up. Artefaktual Comics and Games is having Puzzle Club on fourth Saturday in Januart from noon to 4 p.m.

*Barbour County Family Support Center will have clothing giveaway at their office on January 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

*We will keep you posted as more events are being reported to us! Once the roads clear, we hope you get a chance to go out and support some of the small businesses in the area who lost a lot during the last week that they had to be closed.
