Heart And Hand Receives Donations

Last month, several local youth organizations took time to donate time and items to Heart and Hand House.

The Busy Bees 4-H Club packed over 400 lbs of rice for the food pantry. The Ten Mile 4-H Club packed over 1,200 lbs of potatoes for the Christmas Box ministry. The Mountaineer 4-H Club packed chicken for the food pantry and organized the layette room. The Black Diamond Girl Scout Troop packed apples and donated 10 Thanksgiving baskets that were distributed. The Barbour County Boy Scouts helped with the heavy lifting, packed apples, and packed food boxes.

Additionally, Eric Ruf, from Barbour County Health Association, presented a check to Heart and Hand House for the food pantry. The 12th Annual Turkey Trot raised $1,500 dollars to help stock the shelves this season.

Heart and Hand House appreciates all of the hands that help make our ministry programs successful. The generosity in their hearts allows the organization to continue to bless families in our community.
