Girl Scouts Donate To Food Pantry

A Brownie from Girl Scout Troop #10007, Layla Helmick, collected food for a local food pantry opening soon in Barbour County. This was her last step in completing one of her journeys.

The food pantry will be called Bless This Food and will be located at 15227 Barbour County Hwy. The owner, Nina Daugherty said that Layla's donation was the first actual food donation they have received. She is hoping to open very soon and hopes that our Girl Scout troop will be able to help her out on many occasions.
