After snowstorms and floods, 40 and 50 degree weather is around the corner, albeit with rain on most days. Schools are scheduled for full week, and local basketball teams are making up missed games at the record pace. Once we receive updated schedules, we will post them in our daily newsletter.
Daddy T's Smoking BBQ will be at BC Bank Monday at 10:30 a.m., while Tater Wagon is scheduled for Tuesday at the same location. MM&C Catering is offering pulled pork dinner - message their Facebook page for details.
January was a harsh weather for our restaurants, so if you are able to, try to go out and support them! Most of them put daily specials on their Facebook pages, or call them and check out about their offerings!
Artefaktual Junk Journaling Saturday was a hit! Next Saturday - puzzle club! If you are a fan of jigsaw puzzle - the shop is place to be from 12 to 4 p.m. every second Saturday of the month! Located next to Bless This Food pantry and Mountain State Quilting.

Philippi Public Library will have screening of critically acclaimed blockbuster "Wicked" on Saturday, February 22 at 10:15 a.m. Space is limited, so call 304-457-3495 to register. Free hot cocoa and gourmet popcorn!
Battlers Knob is slated to host middle school wrestling tournament this Friday and Saturday, attracting dozen middle schools from around the state!
Next Book Club at the Philippi Public Library will take place on March 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. and the book of the month is "Book Thief." Call library at abovementioned number to reserve your copy.
