Ed Law Recognized

The Philippi Lions Club would like to recognize former member Ed Law. Ed joined the Club in 2011, sponsored by Steve Kaufman, he resigned in 2024. While a member, he served on the Board of Directors and received the Leonard Jarrett Award.

Ed was always ready to serve and participated in all of the Club’s projects. He especially enjoyed the vision screenings, flag day for first graders, and placing the flags at Mt. Vernon Cemetery for Memorial Day. Ed made the bases for the flags that were given out on flag day, and he was always ready to grill a hotdog for the fundraisers. He and his wife Carrie provided all the decorations for the gazebo at Halloween.

Although no longer a member of the Lions Club, Ed is still serving the community by participating in the Summer Music Concerts and other musical programs throughout Philippi.
