County Experiences Flood (Saturday, February 1, 2025)

• Barbour County faced the highest flood since 2015 on Friday as to what it appears to be is one of the top 20 floods ever. For more up to date information, please check out our Flood Updates article.

  
  

• Many creeks and streams are now in danger of flooding as well, and you can find most recent map of those areas here.

  
  

• While Belington and Junior bridges remained open, Philippi has closed bypass at intersection of 119/250, as well as Sycamore and Beech intersection.

  
  

• Several events were still on for tomorrow, including 10:30 cheer showcase and 12:30 baseball clinic at Battlers Knob. E3 Venue in Belington is still planning on featuring Rox Band in the evening.
