Colt Chords Participate In VocalFest

On Saturday, February 24, the Philip Barbour Colt Chords participated in the VocalFest choral competition at Robert C. Byrd High School. PB’s “small but mighty” select choir were named First Runner Up (second place) in their division.


In addition, two students, Leigh Rice and Jenna Campbell were named outstanding performers. “I am very proud of the hard work and achievements of these great students,” said Lewis R. Hall, director. Local opportunities to hear these students perform this spring include: The Philippi Art Stroll, the Chamber of Commerce Banquet, and Spring Concert on May 7, at PBHS at 7 p.m.
