The Broaddus Hospital Wound Care program recently received Restorix Health’s Excellence in Clinical Distinction and Patient Satisfaction Award. The award recognized the wound care program’s outstanding clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction scores for the July – December 2023 period.
“We understand the significant impact that chronic wounds can have on a patient’s quality of life,” said wound care specialist and program manager Emily Starks, FPN. “We offer advanced treatments, personalized care plans, and a multidisciplinary approach to effectively manage and heal wounds of all types.”
The Broaddus Wound Care clinicians have advanced training in wound care and are dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes and preventing lower limb loss for patients with non-healing wounds.
“Our program utilizes evidence-based practices, and traditional and advanced therapies and techniques to reduce healing time and improve patient healing rates,” Starks added. Broaddus Hospital CEO Dana Gould congratulated Starks and Dave Spence, RN, on their achievement, recognizing them for consistently going above and beyond to deliver the highest quality of wound care in the county.
“If you or a loved one is in need of wound care, we invite you to learn more about our award-winning wound care program, and how we can help you on your journey to healing,” said Starks.
