Belington Middle School Students Participate In Region 8 Middle School Honor Band


Total of 13 students from the Belington Middle School Band participated Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24, 2024 in the Middle School Honor Band held at Philip Barbour High School. This prestigious group of young musicians is composed of members from eight different middle schools from the surrounding area. This year, the band was conducted by Mr. John Brosky.


Over the two-day session, students learned and performed five musical selections. These selections included: The Invincible Warrior, Southampton March, Fire Quest, Lean On Me, and Freedom Finale.


Students attending were: (front row) Katie Cline, drums; Rylee Holbert, flute; (middle row) Kylea Shifflett, trumpet; Summer Blankenship, flute; Brooklyn Curtis, flute; Isabella Allen, clarinet; (back row) Anthony McMannis, trombone; Ansley Bolyard, saxophone; Lillian Hymes, trumpet; Natalie Sears, trumpet; Malachi Daugherty, trombone; Wyatt Cross, trombone; and Hayden Dalton, trumpet.
