Barbour County Youth Wrestling Competes

Barbour County Youth Wrestling got their 2023-2024 season started off with a bang.

They traveled to the Robbie Key Legacy Wrestling tournament and Skills Clinic in Summersville on November 4 and 5, taking five to the tournament and taking away five medals.

On November 18, they traveled to the 35th Annual Panter Classic with eight kids and left with five medals.

On November 19, they traveled to Buckhannon for their Youth Wrestling Tournaments - open and ladies. The club had taken 13 wrestlers and left with 15 medals.

The Barbour County Mat Club practices every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the EDGE in Belington. Look to see more from this club and their coaches - Cody Shahan, Tony Charnoplosky, Shawn Kirpatrick, Tammy Sandy, Stephanie Charnoplosky, Erica Kirpatrick, and Alishia Shahan.
