Annual Blue And Gray Show Draws Crowd To Downtown Philippi

Sunday after Blue and Gray Reunion weekend has been reserved for the annual car show, and the 35th one certainly did not disappoint. More than 120 cars and hundreds of spectators descended to the Courthouse Square in downtown Philippi to enjoy the display of old vehicles.


The awards were handed out upon the completion of the show, and were as follows: Farthest Traveled- Anthony Lacanda from North Carolina, 360 miles in a 1960 Ford;


Ladies Choice- Vic Bartlett, 1972 Chevy Blazer; Red-Line Customz Choice, 1968 Chevy Truck; and Best of Show- Steven and Gail Boyce, 1969 Dodge Charger "General Lee."
