Animal Friends Receive Donation

Battlers Knob, LLC and the Phillips Family Foundation recently presented Animal Friends of Barbour County, Inc. with a donation. This donation arises from part of the funds that were raised at Battlers Knob's "Jingle & Mingle" Ladies Night Out event in November, and were matched by the Phillips Family Foundation. Many of the women in attendance at the Ladies Night Out suggested Animal Friends as a donation recipient and Battlers Knob is glad to be able to honor those requests.

In its 23rd year, Animal Friends is a local no-kill animal shelter, staffed by volunteers, that cares for animals in Barbour County that have been surrendered, abused, neglected, or are strays. They work with area veterinarians, various rescue groups, and adopt out animals locally, as well. Battlers Knob LLC and the Phillips Family Foundation are proud to partner with Animal Friends as they work to save the lives of and find homes for at-risk animals in Barbour County.

Additional donations raised from the Battlers Knob "Jingle & Mingle" Ladies Night Out fundraiser and matched by Phillips Family Foundation will be forthcoming throughout this holiday season.
