A Day Of Unity And Action: Christian Leaders Unite For A Cause In Barbour County

Saturday, November 4, 2023, witnessed a remarkable display of unity and purpose as 36 Christian leaders hailing from 14 diverse churches and non-profit organizations converged in Barbour County. The event, led by Mr. Kary Kingsland and Scott Collier from Convoy of Hope and their Rural Initiatives team, proved to be a day of enlightenment, interaction, and sharing.

The gathering, which spanned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., was more than just a meeting of minds; it was a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit. The focal point of the day was the R.A.I.S.E. training, a program meticulously developed by Convoy of Hope. This initiative inspired local leaders to explore innovative ways to relate and integrate proactive approaches towards identifying and addressing various needs within the community.
