Adaland Mansion Christmas Buffet Has Seats Available

A few seats are still available for all three seatings of Adaland Mansion’s last Christmas Buffet Dinner of the season according to an Adaland spokesperson. This local favorite annual dinner on Sunday, December 15 has seatings at 1, 2:30, and 4 p.m.

This sumptuous buffet dinner is being prepared by Adaland’s veteran cook, Lucy Williamson. Williamson’s home cooking is well known in the area and always draws rave reviews. The December 15 dinner includes buttered turkey, turkey stuffing, gravy, raisin roasted ham, buttered carrots, green beans, cabbage-n-noodles, coleslaw, home make rolls and breads, and a variety of cakes and pies for dessert. Reservations may be made by calling 304-457-1587.

Guests to this final 2024 season event will also be treated to the 1870 home all decked out in her Christmas finery. Additionally, Santa’s Gift Shop located on the second floor of the mansion has items that would make excellent Christmas gifts.

The sky-blue decorated Christmas tree in the above picture is in Santa’s Gift Shop this year and adds cheer to the serious judge’s office where it sits. Visitors will find a variety of items for purchase in the Gift Shop.
